FAQ
You probably have questions
Most people feel a mix of curiosity and hesitation before their first session. That's healthy. Here are the honest answers to what I'm asked most.
Will I be unconscious or out of control?+
No. Hypnotherapy is a relaxed, focused state — you stay aware and in charge the whole time. You'll hear everything, remember it, and can open your eyes any time. It feels like deep daydreaming, not sleep.
Can I be hypnotised against my will?+
Never. All hypnosis is self-hypnosis. I guide, you choose. Nothing happens that you don't want, and you can't be made to do anything against your values.
How many sessions will I need?+
Many issues — quit smoking, phobias, a single goal — resolve in one to three sessions. Deeper work like trauma may take more. We'll map it out on your discovery call; there's never pressure to book more.
Is it safe to do online?+
Yes. Online sessions are just as effective and many clients prefer them. You simply need a quiet space, headphones, and a comfortable place to sit or recline.
Is hypnotherapy a substitute for medical care?+
It's complementary, not a replacement. For pain and trauma especially I work alongside your GP or therapist. I'll always tell you honestly if something is outside my scope.
What does it cost?+
Your first discovery call is free and obligation-free. Session packages are tailored to your goal, so we'll agree the right one together — never more than you need. See the contact page to start.
Still wondering?
That's exactly what the free discovery call is for. Bring every question — I'd rather you ask than wonder.
